**Associate, Reconciliations (6 Month Contract)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Reconcile Broker Statements for COD accounts and Custody accounts
- Reconcile and balance Control Accounts with larger and more complex transactions;
- Respond to queries of mínimal to moderate complexity;
- Evaluate and resolve matters that fall beyond existing practice standards and procedures;
- Liaise with Exchanges & Service Bureaus;
- Communicate trade adjustments with Trader’s, IA’s (or Assistants) and support staff in a timely and professional manner;
- Monitor “as of transactions” pre settlement;
- Update statistics;
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- 3 - 5 years of related industry experience;
- Detail oriented, with superior analytical and problem solving skills;
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong data entry skills; accuracy and efficiency is required;
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel (Macros) and Outlook;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
- Ability to be self-motivated and work effectively under pressure;
- Working knowledge of Trading Blotters, Clearing and Reconciliation Reports an asset;
- Knowledge of Dataphile system, CDS and DTC an asset.
- Knowledge of Derivatives clearing an asset
