**About Kanata Montessori**

Kanata Montessori is a leading private school in the west end of Ottawa, dedicated to fostering an enriching learning environment that nurtures independence, curiosity, and lifelong learning. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Junior Finance Associate** to join our team and support the financial operations of our school.

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Payroll Processing**: Manage and process payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations.
- **Invoicing**: Prepare and distribute invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
- **Accounts Payable**: Process vendor invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.
- Support the school with additional accounting tasks as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with payroll processing, preferably using ADP.
- Familiarity with invoicing and accounts payable processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
