Job Title: Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning and faxing
- Posting & reconciling bank statements
- Posting payables & receivables
- Reconciling accounts
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Reconcile accounts

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Post-secondary education in Bookkeeping is considered a strong asset; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is a plus
- Proficient in Sage 50 and Intuit Profile
- We offer competitive compensation based on experience. This is currently a part-time, permanent position during regular office hours leading to permanent full-time in January. Please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration._
