**Job Description**:
The Global Business Continuity Management (BCM) Team is accountable for setting and maintaining the MUFG Investor Services’ BCM standards and framework (including Crisis Management and Operational Resilience) that will maximize the businesses return on investment and ensure client confidence is upheld at all times. The role will share this mission with team members and work closely with business and control functions, support functions and IT service management.

The role forms an important part of MUFG Investor Services’ overall risk management framework, for which the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) has overall responsibility. The BCP department is part of the wider Risk team overseen by the Global Head of Risk.

The role reports directly to the Senior Associate Director, Business Continuity Management and will contribute to the development and maintenance of the enterprise-wide business continuity management program including the development of tools and instructional user guides for the business, while collaborating closely with the Risk and IT functions.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Assess and document the business services of MUFG Investor Services and map the associated processes required across the value chain to complete the delivery of business services to end users (clients, investors, regulators, others)
- Identify and document the critical needs of the end user(s) for each business service and the criticality of each business service along with upstream and downstream dependencies and interconnections with other business services in the organization
- Identify the material client detriment, financial market harm and impact to firm’s stability and viability in the event of non-availability of critical business service
- Determine the circumstances and timeframe at which the material client detriment, market impacts and impact to firm’s stability could manifest
- Identify peak times, deadlines and frequency of each business service and internal and external factors that could affect the timeframe/ deadlines
- Collect and map data and key metrics on customer and service type, client and regulatory requirements, revenues and processing volumes and capacity
- Coordinate with other control functions to cross references risk related metrics from various risk assessments such as RCSA, Location risk assessment, vendor risk assessment, IT risk assessment, at service and location level
- Analyze collected data and metrics and support service owners and BCP team to determine impact tolerance of each business service
- Support Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Operational Risk Management (ORM) teams in scenario testing, risk assessment, gap/ vulnerability assessments and in creating the remedial actions
- Assess the resilience of existing business services and supporting tools and technologies and how they would be recovered with effective workaround solutions and external support from third parties
- Assist in setting up an ongoing operational resilience framework for future new products and services
- Identify opportunities for strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption and other risks caused by business, regulatory, or industry specific change initiatives
- Support the preparation of governance packs and ongoing reporting to steering committee and risk committee.Assist in the Operational Resilience tool design and development

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree in accounting, IT, finance, business or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification in Business Continuity Management and / or Risk or a related discipline would be preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Business Process Analyst within the Funds Administration industry or financial setting
