Cardiac Sonographer

Cardiacare Diagnostics is currently seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our clinical team. The successful candiate will work independently to perform high quality Adult Echocardiograms.

Main Responsibilities:

- Performing diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures using independent judgement

to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings.
- Evaluate, collate and provide impression of exams.
- Assume responsibility for the safety and physical comfort of patients while they

are in our care.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area while using accessory devices in an appropriate

and safe manner.
- Assist in the instruction of students and orientation of other staff.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation of procedures
- Maintains efficient and effective work practices

Qualifications include:
*Graduate from a Canadian accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Program.

*CARDUP registration or eligible for registration within 6 months of hire.

*ARDMS Echocardiography strongly preferred.

*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability

to communicate with a high level of professionalism in interpersonal relations.

*Evidence of organizational skills with the ability to prioritize; work well under pressure,

and show flexibility.

*Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

*Satisfactory attendance record

Experience working with Phillips and GE systems is an asset

Work Hours:
3-4 days/week(must be flexible working evenings and weekends)

Schedule may change with prior notification.

Pay: Depending on the Experience
