**Job purpose**

The role of the shipping clerk is to be the main administrative personal for Shipping and Logistics.

**Duties and responsibilities**

Administrative tasks including but not limited to:

- Providing excellent support to general foreman, yard personnel, and drivers.
- Assessing the best and most convenient delivery routes to ensure steel is delivered as per site requirements and scheduled time.
- Assisting in daily tasks to support Shipping Lead.
- Daily data entry and matching of delivery tickets, detail sheets and BOL’s for drivers/deliveries.
- Communicating and coordinating between LMS job sites and manufacturing yard.
