**Job description**

1 Hour Signs has an immediate opening for an experienced, fun, energetic, independent, self-motivated, full-time Sign Fabricator / Installer for a fast-paced, high-quality production environment. We are looking for an individual with a blend of sign fabrication expertise, hands-on construction experience, LED electrical knowledge and the ability to work at heights using our bucket van. **Responsibilities**:
**Sign Fabrication**
- Work with various materials such as vinyl, acrylic, coroplast and alupanel metal to fabricate custom signs with precision.
- Operate equipment, including laminators, panel saw and laser cutter.
- Ensure compliance with design guidelines, color consistency, and quality standards.

**Vinyl Cutting and Installation**:

- Accurately operate vinyl cutting machine to produce lettering and graphics for signs.

**Installation**:

- Conduct on-site surveys to assess installation requirements, considering construction elements and safety protocols.
- Safely and efficiently install signs, banners, and graphics at various locations, both indoor and outdoor.
- Utilize construction skills for proper mounting on walls, windows, vehicles, and other surfaces.

**Construction Experience**:

- Use basic construction knowledge and skills to ensure structural integrity and secure sign installations.
- Address any construction-related challenges during installation, collaborating with the team to find effective solutions.

**Electrical Knowledge**:

- Perform services such as LED lighting installs, cleaning and painting electric ballast and lamp replacements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to maintain the functionality of illuminated signs.

**Working at Heights**:

- Operate our bucket van to work at elevated heights during installation, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Comfortably and safely work at heights to mount signs on buildings, and other elevated structures.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct thorough quality checks on completed signs to identify and address any defects or imperfections.
- Verify that the finished products align with design specifications and customer requirements.

**Team Communication**:

- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure a seamless work flow from concept to installation.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate project timelines and requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in sign fabrication and installation, with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Hands-on experience in construction and a solid understanding of related safety protocols.
- Proficiency in working with fabrication tools, vinyl cutting machines, and installation equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Electrical knowledge related to LED lights on signs.
- Experience working at heights using bucket vans.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel to various job sites.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Working at heights
- Able to work in outdoor conditions year round

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
