**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and learning pace.
- Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure understanding and retention of material.
- Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes learning and self-confidence.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students effectively, including interactive activities and technology-based resources.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in one or more languages: English, French, Spanish, Japanese, or Mandarin is preferred.
- Experience in tutoring or classroom education is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to educate children with patience and creativity.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to write lesson plans and educational materials effectively.
- Familiarity with different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- A passion for helping students succeed academically while fostering a love for learning.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
