This position is responsible for leading and directing the overall educational, academic, and philosophical direction of the Health Care Assistant (HCA) and Practical Nurse (PN) programs within the **Health Sciences Department.**

Salary range $70,000 - $100,000 based on education levels and experience.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Program Management**
- Ensure that program and course curriculum(s) adhere to provincial curriculum (s) standards (BCCNM, CACHWR).

**Instructor Management**
- Support, develop and mentor instructors in the Health Sciences department.

**Student Success**
- Support students learning journey.

**Regulatory Organizations**
- Ensure HCA and PN program compliance with CACHWR and BCCNM standards.

**Community Relationships**
- Maintain and develop relationships with community health care organizations.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Provincial Instructor’s Diploma or an equivalent qualification (or be enrolled and actively pursuing to be completed within three years of hiring).
- An active license through the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and in good standing.
- Minimum of five years of relevant occupational experience.
- Experience in digital literacy is required.
