- **Main day-to-day activities**:

- On-site Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections of pallet rack structures at customer facilities to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Provide prompt inspection reports detailing your findings.
- Enter inspection data into the system, capture data and write reports using raw data.
- Drawings and reports: Create technical drawings and reports for pallet racking structures.
- Technical support: Provide technical support to engineers and customers, including carrying out field inspections where necessary.
- General duties: Carry out various tasks associated with structural inspections.

**Profile**:

- This position is open to all levels of expertise above the minimums requested in the requirements.

**Experience and skills required**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- DEP or DEC in a relevant field;
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience (Desirable)
- Experience in structural modelling is a valuable asset for this position:

- Experience in structural modelling: Previous experience in structural modelling is considered an asset.
- Experience in an inspector role or in a position involving final inspection and delivery of final products to the client;
- Good communication skills;
- Teamwork and dynamism;
- Attention to detail and observation skills;
- Use of basic measuring equipment (micrometers, callipers, etc);
- Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and product and process specifications (English &/or French);
- Use of computer systems and MS Word, Excel, AutoCad (all);
**Language skills**:Fluency in French and/or English and ability to communicate in a professional manner.

**Particularities**:

- Possess a Quebec driver's licence,
- Ability to travel frequently in Quebec and Ontario by various means of transportation, either by air or by land,
- Vehicle requirements: A personal vehicle is required to carry out inspections.

En tant que technicien d'inspection structurelle, vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans la réalisation d'inspections de palettier et la production de rapports d'inspection détaillés pour l'équipe d'Optim-Structure.

**Principales activités au quotidien**:

- **Inspections sur site** : Effectuer des inspections sur site des structures de palettier dans les installations des clients afin de s'assurer de leur conformité avec les codes et les normes en vigueur. Fournir rapidement des rapports d'inspection détaillant vos conclusions.
- Entrer les données d’inspection dans le système, de saisir les données et de rédiger les rapports à l’aide de données brutes.
- **Dessins et rapports** : Créer des plans et des rapports techniques pour les structures de palettier.
- **Support technique** : Offrir un soutien technique aux ingénieurs et aux clients, y compris en effectuant des inspections sur le terrain si nécessaire.
- **Tâches générales** : Effectuer diverses tâches associées aux inspections structurelles.

- Ce poste est ouvert à tous les niveaux d’expertise au-dessus des minimums demandés dans les exigences.

**Expériences et compétences recherchées**
- Détenir un diplôme de Baccalauréat
- Un atout précieux pour ce poste avoir d’:

- 2 ans d'expérience souhaité
- expérience en modélisation structurelle : Une expérience préalable en modélisation structurelle est considérée comme un atout.
- expériences dans un rôle d'inspecteur ou dans un poste impliquant du contrôle final et de livraison de produits finaux chez le client;
- Bonne aptitude à la communication;
- Travail équipe et dynamism;
- Souci du détail et sens de l’observation;
- Utilisation des équipements de mesure de base (micromètres, pieds à coulisse, etc);
- Lire et interpréter des plans, devis et spécifications de produits et procédés (anglais/ français);
- Utilisation des systèmes informatiques et les logiciels MS Word, Excel, AutoCad (à tout);
**Compétences linguistiques** : Maîtrise du français et/ou de l’anglais et capacité à communiquer de manière professionnelle.

**Particularités**:

- Posséder un permis de conduire du Québec,
- Être apte à se déplacer fréquemment sur le territoire québécois et ontarien par différents moyens de transports, soit arien ou terrestre,
- Exigence en matière de véhicule : Un véhicule personnel est nécessaire pour effectuer les inspections.
