Job Title: Scaffolder Apprentices/Journeyperson

Number of Openings: 6

**Job Type**: Full-Time

Minimum Level of Education: 2nd year to Journeyperson

Application Deadline: Until Filled

**Position Location**

Location: Various locations in Edmonton & area.

Shift Rotation: Various shifts depending on site 5/2, 6/1 or 10/4 Rotation

Hours Per Day: 8 -10 hours per day depending on the site

Start Date: ASAP

Transfer: There is a possibility of transferring to other job sites once this job is complete.

**Position Summary**

Responsibilities include:

- Unloading scaffolding equipment on-site.
- Ensuring a stable base for scaffolding.
- Erecting scaffolding poles.
- Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures.
- Laying planks for workers to walk on.
- Fixing guard rails and safety netting.
- Calculating weight of materials and/or spools to ensure proper equipment is used.
- Complying with ONEC’s and client safety policies and procedures.
- Experience with scaffolding preferred (2nd year to Journeyperson)
- Drug & Alcohol testing is mandatory depending on the site requirements.
- 3-5 years of applicable experience.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, ESC H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection, Confined Space & First Aid.
- Must be capable of physical labour.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards.
- Organizational and time management skills.

**Salary**: $27.00-$40.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
