We currently have an opportunity for **security guards** in the Saint John area.

**Qualifications**:

- Be at least 19 years of age, as per licensing requirements
- Be able to pass provincial and federal security background checks
- Be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Be able to work in different conditions: Day and Night
- Have excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Possess a valid driver’s licence

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Scanning the area for potential threats and hazards
- Observe and report suspicious behaviour
- Demonstrate judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge in emergencies or other incidents
- Writing notes daily
- Writing reports as needed
- Maintaining a detailed and accurate sign in log
- Monitoring Port of Saint John security camera system
- Access control
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Greeting clients and staff as they enter the building
- Be able to stand for long periods at a time

**Salary**: From $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
