Boomtruck / Knuckleboom Operator

Mega Cranes Ltd., thirty years an industry leader in heavy equipment rentals, is seeking an energetic and reliable self-starter for a boom truck/ knuckleboom operating position. This position involves physically demanding work including setting up, operating, and demobing cranes on job sites. It will also involve working as a second man/ rigger on site; applicant must be willing to get out of the truck and be active when on job sites. Applicant must be able to lift dunnage/ timbers/ pads/ etc. as required.

Valid certification required.

Fall protection as asset.

The position includes full union wages and benefits, as well as the opportunity to move up in the future.

This applicant must be fluent in written and spoken English and have a valid class 1 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement.

Please note that this position is in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Applicants must live in the area, or be willing to relocate.
