Civil Superintendent

Surrey, Canada United Group Full time

United Group is looking for a civil superintendent that will be responsible for supporting various projects involving managing various construction sites, supervising employees, and multiple subcontractors, all while promoting the company’s HSE policies throughout each project.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage onsite construction activities daily

Resolve on-site issues and emergencies

Provide technical direction to work crews as needed; ensure work is performed to company standards

Responsible for the interaction of construction team assigned

Ensure that all onsite activities are in accordance with IFC drawings

Work effectively with stakeholders, including team, other company personnel, engineers, and contractors

Conduct value engineering, planning, scheduling and rough estimating budget

Coordinate with project manager regarding daily production rates

Regularly review the execution and performance of construction activities with the operation manager

Adhere to, with the goal of outperforming, the project budget

Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards
