Experienced Cafe Baker

The Cafe at Oakridge Garden Centre is looking to hire a responsible employee with commercial baking experience to work alongside Oakridge staff in our commercial baking kitchen.

Our role needs include:

- Commercial baking experience
- Preparing yeast baking such as ciabatta, focaccia and other breads
- Preparing high quality pastries, cinnamon buns, cakes, cheesecakes and pies
- Has knowledge in working with gluten friendly / free recipes
- Preparing soups and quiche daily
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Strong leadership Skills with the ability to work efficiently and independently
- All shifts - day shifts that are flexible in start time and length - 4days/week to start - seasonally - full time
- Wage discussion based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
