SOV Roofing & Waterproofing is looking for a Construction Estimator/Project Manager to join our successful team. The main role involves overseeing estimations, the ability to build and negotiate pricing, manage upcoming and current projects. Salary to be commensurate with qualifications.

**What we expect from you**:

- Completion of a degree or related experience in construction/estimating
- Minimum one year of experience preferred.
- Experience with local constructions methods and materials.
- Knowledge of construction estimating/project management principles and techniques
- Skilled in technical writing and have excellent communication skills - written and oral.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate quantity takeoffs and cost calculations.
- Takes initiative in fluid situations and helps to resolve challenges.
- Responsible and organized.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost estimates.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office, Planswift.
- To be able to do an estimate.
- Be able to be collaborate with the team.

**What you are going to do**:

- Manage an estimating process for construction projects, from initial bid to final proposal.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Research and gather pricing information for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Create comprehensive bid proposals that outline the scope of work, pricing breakdowns, and any special considerations.
- Analyze project scope changes and provide updated cost estimates as needed
- Prepare and track budgets.
- Verify and process change orders, RFI's promptly.
- Resolve contractual issues promptly.
- Manage project activities, resources, scheduling, documentation, and budget.
- Establish mechanisms for tracking project progress and reporting to stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs as needed.
- Ensure construction is in line with design, budget, and schedule
