Looking for an Individual who is capable of or willing to train for Crew Leader position. Duties include, but not limited to, climbing, equipment operation and maintenance (bucket truck, hiab crane, chipper, stump grinder, chainsaws), rope access and rigging, site set up and clean up, deep root fertilizing and hedge trimming, employee interaction and assessment, customer/public relations.
Good at problem solving and job assessment,
Excellent communicator and organization skills.
Knowledgeable in basic climbing and rigging practices.
Observant of surroundings including hazard identification.
Open to suggestions and able to receive and explain criticism where necessary.
**Additional information**
Climbing assessment may be required as part of the interview process.
Additional professional training available
ISA certification is strongly encouraged.
**Mandatory**
G Licence minimum, DZ preferred
Minimum of 2 years arboricultural experience preferred with a minimum of 1 year climbing experience (Approved college certificate can apply)
**Optional certificates**:
WHIMIS, First Aid/CPR, Working at Heights, Chainsaw, D or DZ licence, ISA certification, Arboriculture or Urban Forestry Certification, Arboriculture Canada Training courses.
