SEO Analyst

Excalibur Water Systems is a leading Canadian manufacturer of water treatment and purification equipment for residential, commercial, and industrial markets. We are currently looking for an SEO Analyst to join our growing marketing team.

Focus will be on the following areas:
**Keyword Research**:

- Understand our audience's search intent using tools to analyze keyword difficulty and search volume.
- Identify the most relevant and popular keywords and phrases potential visitors are searching for that we will be able to realistically rank for and get traffic from.

**Competitor Analysis**:

- Analyze SERPs and competitors' SEO/SEM strategies to help us identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.

**On-Page Optimization**:

- Provide ideas for unique and helpful content incorporating targeted keywords to optimize and better align our web pages to user search intent.
- Ensure website content is relevant and addresses visitors' questions and needs. Monitor regularly to notify when content refreshes are needed to ensure content remains relevant and useful.
- Safeguard against over-optimization to ensure a balance between SEO and user experience.

**Off-Page Optimization**:

- Acquire high-quality backlinks from reputable and relevant sources.
- Acquire backlinks from Excalibur Dealers where possible.
- Regularly monitor backlinks to make sure they are credible and not toxic.

**Local SEO**:

- Assist dealers in SEO optimizing their websites for local search results.
- Assist in content optimization on our satellite websites to target local search results more effectively.

**Paid Advertising**:

- Create and manage ad campaigns, monitor ad performance, and analyze data to ensure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

**Skills**:

- 2+ years of experience in an SEO marketing role preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to derive conclusions from data and make recommendations.
- High level of organization and ability to multitask.
- Team player who works well with others but can also work independently.
- Team player willing to contribute to team growth by sometimes assisting with other duties, if required.

**Qualifications**
- University/College graduate in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with Google Ads & SEMrush is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
