**Summary of Responsibilities**:
We need an upbeat Via Pack/Insp Operator to join our team in Alliston. This full-time position is on the Afternoon shift (Monday to Friday 15:00-23:00) and pays $27.10/hour.
Join Baxter Healthcare Corporation as a Via Pack MH/Insp and contribute to our high-quality, safe medical products. You'll be involved in equipment setup, inspection, and packing, ensuring our reputation for excellence and adherence to GMP.
Responsibilities include setting up case sealer, operating machines, transferring sterilized trucks, unloading products, inspecting and packing viaflex units, and maintaining cleanliness.
Due to the nature of our business, Baxter follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) which requires our employees to focus on cleanliness and contamination control. Other aspects of GMP that must be observed are no makeup or jewelry in the production areas.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Perform one or more of the following duties on a rotating basis:
- Set up case sealer
- Ensure machines are operating accurately
- Move sterilized trucks from sterilized staging area to packing staging area
- Remove screens from trucks
- Unload sterilized products onto conveyor
- Inspect and pack the viaflex units
- Remove empty trucks to staging area and remove garbage from area.
**Job Requirements**:
- High School diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) is required for this position (Proof will be requested).
- Experience doing repetitive tasks
- Manufacturing/Quality experience in a GMP environment
- Experience in food or manufacturing industry
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment (experience working in an assembly line setting is preferred)
- Flexibility to weekends
- Positive attitude, and an ability to work in a team setting with a focus on quality assurance and attention to detail
