Chemistry Lab Technician

Sidney, Canada MB Laboratories ltd. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
- Conduct various laboratory tests
- Analyze data and prepare reports on test results
- Assist with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy and precision in testing
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and solve problems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Cross train in other required positions once trained in primary roll is completed

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a related field, will consider student Co-op
- Strong knowledge of chemistry principles and laboratory techniques
- Experience working in a laboratory setting preferred
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and measurements
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with colleagues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.60 per hour
