Bracebridge, Canada Rockscape Full time

Reporting directly to the Crew Leader and/or Project Manager, the Crew Member position is a valuable role that assists in the daily landscaping operations. Without this position we would not exist This position allows an opportunity to develop both practical and leadership skills.

**Work Schedule**:
Our standard Crew Member schedule operates from Monday to Friday. However, it's important to note that, in certain instances and as required by project deadlines, there may be a need for occasional weekend work. It is expected during the season for Crew Members to work approximately 50 hours/week.

**Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to**:

- Complete tasks as directed by Crew Leader and/or other managers
- Working with the other divisions within Rockscape/Elevate to complete work according to directions, ensuring Rockscape standards are met
- Work as part of fun and creative team
- Positively represent the company and treat owners, clients, subcontractors and suppliers with respect
- Be willing to contribute ideas and solutions when appropriate
- Help the team achieve targets and goals
- Support Crew Leader and management
- Continually look for ways to improve the quality of the customer experience
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management

**Field Operations**:

- Assist the Crew Leader in completion of daily tasks
- Complete all work in a safe and efficient manner
- Treat Rockscape property (vehicles, equipment, and tools) with respect
- Report all safety hazards and incidents to Supervisor and/or Human Resources
- Help maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Assist other divisions as required
- Help Crew Leader keep track of material stockpiles
- Provide coaching to new staff when appropriate
- Demonstrate positive role model behaviours and adheres to Rockscape Core Values
- Perform all related field operations duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- No previous experience is required for this role
- Positive personality and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (i.e. life heavy objects)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to work in all types of weather
- Able to hold self to a high standard of performance
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Must complete required training (paid)
