IDEA Global Internship Program
Our IDEA Global Internship Program is a full-time, paid internship for select roles within our Store Support Centre (Head Office) roles. The 2024 program will run 12 weeks, from June 3 to August 23. Interns will receive support, coaching and mentorship, gain practical work experience, and develop new skills to expand their career possibilities.
We’ve designed a variety of exciting, fun and thoughtful sessions and experiences throughout the program. There will also be opportunities to connect, collaborate and build relationships with interns across the globe. All interns follow two tracks of learning: the in-depth learning and skillset relevant to their role and the broad breadth knowledge of our business operations. Our IDEA Global Internship Program curates a journey for each intern to discover where their passions lie and helps them lay out their career path.

The Associate Project Manager will be part of team Technology Strategy and Operations reporting to the Manager, Technology Business Operations. The Strategy & Operations team is responsible for strategy and planning, portfolio management, labour governance, engagement and communications, and business operations for technology.
a day in the life
All our interns play an important role in our business and are key members of the team. Some of the tasks, roles and responsibilities include:
- Supporting current strategies and portfolios of work
- Working with cross-functional partners to gain alignment on strategic projects
- Supporting in the day-to-day management of building out solutions for key projects and/or programs
- Participating in several meetings and conversations pertaining to key areas of your work
- Complete tasks assigned by Project/Program Managers or Technology Managers supporting initiation, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and reporting for 1 or 2 tracks of an active initiative
- Collaborate with the vendors and various stakeholders of the initiative, as applicable, and effectively communicate relevant data to and from said stakeholders
- Set up and administer document repository sites, manage where and how to document processes within role’s scope of responsibility

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience CS/CIS, finance, business administration, or other related field
- Experience working with or in a technology organization, specifically driving communication and delivery strategies from either an agile or project level
- Well versed in all Microsoft Office tools with skillset in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience creating deliverables (in excel or PowerPoint) for communication
- Proven success with task ownership and efficiency in communication & collaboration
