**Overview**:
Reporting to the Team Lead, Cultivation, the Grower is responsible for the care and growth lifecycle of cannabis plants within a licensed facility. The Grower performs tasks to support growing processes including but not limited to cloning, pruning, defoliation, and transplanting ensuring production of high quality, healthy and prolific cannabis plants.

**Scope of Role**:

- Supports the Master Cultivator and VP/Director, Cultivation to manage healthy cannabis plant growth
- Perform all the tasks in the growing process according to the master plan/schedule including cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays and waste disposal
- Manage and account for all inventory and supplies
- Supports cultivation leaders to develop and/or maintain grow protocols and nutrient regiment
- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with Health Canada regulations
- Diligently follows SOPs in accordance with GPP guidelines
- Maintain concise daily records and ensure documentation is accessible and organized in a compliant manner as per QA guidelines
- Able to learn new techniques to expand knowledge in nutrient of individual strains, high yield recipes, controlled stress environments to different lighting systems and set ups
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized horticultural or science program
- Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial grow experience is an asset
- Knowledge of large-scale commercial plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, temperature control, air flow, _etc_.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Physical aptitude necessary to perform tasks required to assist in proper plant care for a 10 hour shift period
- Ability to possess or successfully obtain Health Canada’s Security Clearance under the Cannabis Act is an asset
