**What can I expect to do in this role?**: You will:

- purchase, receive, and distribute supplies
- organize and secure the storeroom area
- maintain materials for the inmate library
- supervise and assign work to inmate helpers
- maintain an electronic inventory system and provide various reports

**Supplies Management Knowledge and Skills**:

- you have knowledge of ordering, receiving and managing supplies
- you understand how to maintain supply inventories
- you are organized and can prioritize own workload

**Other Essential Skills**:

- you can work independently and with limited supervision
- you can build and maintain effective working relationships to work with staff and inmates
- you can use your communication skills to liaise with vendors and prepare reports
- you have knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office
