**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Safely operate a bus along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers while boarding, riding, and disembarking from the bus.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with questions and concerns during their journey.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bus interior before and after each trip.
- Educate passengers on safety procedures and emergency protocols as necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the bus to ensure mechanical integrity and report any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays.
- Assist senior passengers or those with disabilities as needed, ensuring a comfortable travel experience.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills in Spanish or other languages are highly desirable.
- Ability to write reports and maintain accurate records related to daily operations.
- Previous experience in senior care or working with diverse populations is a plus.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for conducting routine vehicle inspections and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on educating passengers about services provided.
- A commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism at all times.

Pay: $20.91 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
