Warehouse Associate

Mobile Parts Inc. is a major supplier of mobile equipment parts and specially fitted utility vehicles designed to carry people and materials in mining environments. We are proudly located in Sudbury, Ontario and supply parts and products to the mining industry in multiple countries worldwide We are looking for an ambitious and team-oriented individual to join our team

**The Role**:
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The incumbent will actively engage in the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Meet warehouse operational standards by pulling, packing and shipping orders and ensuring shipments are appropriately labelled, packaged and loaded to ship.
- Move inventory to and from warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
- Deliver supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
- Maintain storage areas by organizing floor space and ensuring a clean and tidy work space at all times.
- Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
- Organize parts on shelves; replace bin boxes as needed, make sure parts are clearly identified, wash and/or dust shelving and bins.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplish warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience in warehousing or equipment parts industry
- College diploma or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience in Health & Safety enforcement is an asset
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders and other supporting teams at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including the ability to create/manage spreadsheets in MS Excel
- Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory databases and warehouse management
- Thorough and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
