**Team & Job Overview**

The Business Analyst works as a liaison between the business community and technical community in the development of solutions that support the business. The Business Analyst elicits, analyzes, communicates, validates, and translates business requirements into documentation and supports conceptual design for changes to business processes, data/information, and information systems.

The BA possesses the ability to quickly understand the business and contributes to solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. The incumbent can assess processes and information streams; and is proficient in the utilization of the appropriate tools, models and techniques as part of the requirements gathering process.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Acts as a liaison between the technology group and business units for the development, testing and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
- Captures and prepares user requirements for IT development team to action through sprint based product delivery.
- Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
- Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.

**Screening Criteria**
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, User Experience Design, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar software
- Detail oriented & analytical thinker that helps efficiently detect, define, and solve problems
- Experience and/or certification in Agile, Scrum Master or Hybrid IT delivery methodology

**Assets**
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®)
- Experience implementing Data Quality Solutions
- Knowledge of various Process Mapping standards
- Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French)

**Salary Range**
- $66,000 - $99,000 plus performance-based incentive
