Moxies Downtown location is seeking a part-time Doorman for weekend evenings and event nights. Ability to work nights and weekends required.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Hold a strong, hospitable presence at the front door during busy evening services
- Complete regular security walk-throughs of our patio and restaurant spaces to ensure the safety of guests and team members
- Screen potential guests at the front door by checking IDs (legal identification for liquor service), assessing for intoxication, and provide guidance on ID checks to Management and Service teams
- Help uphold service and legal standards for service of alcohol
- Helping to maintain a clean and organized restaurant
- Help with Takeout/Delivery service and communicate with delivery drivers
**Key Requirements**
- Ability to work evenings and weekends (approximately 6pm to 1am)
- Well-spoken with excellent ambassadorship and communication
- Ability to have conversations and interact with guests at a high level, being respectful always while upholding our liquor licensing requirements and service standards
- Ability to stay focused and pay attention to surroundings at all times
- Ability to remain highly organized
- Team oriented and positive
