Morgan Construction and Environmental Demolition Division is seeking a Demolition Foreman who brings significant experience in civil construction, decommissioning, decontamination, abatement, and disposal, and building demolition. Reporting to the Demolition Superintendent, the Demolition Foreman will play a key this role in directing and supporting the planning and execution of the work, while providing unwavering project execution across Western Canada.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Identify any potential hazard on site and implement the necessary pre-cautionary measures to prevent incidents.
- Assist with the planning, management and execution of assigned projects for Time and Material, Unit Price, or Lump Sum environmental remediation/reclamation and/or demolition projects.
- Assist with the establishment and administration of performance measurement systems to meet client service and contract expectations at the field level.
- Execute job site activities in an effective and efficient manner that conforms to Morgan’s and/or the client’s quality and safety standards.
- Motivate, inspect, observe, and assign tasks to employees.
- Provide regular project status updates to Demolition Superintendent on work safety, work progress, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure that the work area is kept safe and maintained with good housekeeping practices and that the job site is left neat and hazard free at the end of each day.
**Qualifications**
- At least 5 years in demolition of both upstream and downstream sites.
- Progressive field supervision experience with decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition.
- Must be able to form strong working relationships with diverse groups of people, including company employees at all levels, clients, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of applicable environmental and OHS regulations.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office, MS Project, or similar software programs.
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours a day.
