Our business is growing We have an opening for a Junior Draftsperson to support the work of our design team. This entry level position has significant growth potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:
This entry level position supports our design team with:

- Preparing models or making changes to models under the supervision of a senior designer
- Producing detailed and concise drawings and plans with technical accuracy for manufacturing and installation under the direction of the senior design and engineering staff
- Ensuring technical quality and accuracy of project work
- Performing support tasks; including drawing and product data management
- Performing redline mark ups and redraws as per client design requirements
- Creating parts for our CAD library and creating parts and assemblies in our ERP systems

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experience in 3-D drafting; Solidworks considered an asset, or AutoCAD 3D or the equivalent
- Enrollment in a college EIT or equivalent considered an asset
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Discipline and time management skills
- Ability to follow standards
- Knowledge of electronic filing systems

**Reports to**:

- This position reports to the Senior Technical Advisor
