Packaging Specialist

_Overview:_

As a Packaging Specialist for our vitamin and supplements store, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and secure packaging of nutritional products for our customers. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of our products during the packaging process.
- Responsibilities:_
- Order Fulfillment:_
- Review customer orders to determine the type and quantity of vitamins and supplements to be packaged.
- Retrieve products from the inventory based on the order specifications.
- Packaging Procedures:_
- Package vitamins and supplements in accordance with established guidelines and packaging procedures.
- Utilize appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transportation.
- Labeling:_
- Affix accurate labels to each package, including product names, quantities, and any other required information.
- Verify that all labels comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Documentation:_
- Maintain detailed records of packaged items, including batch numbers, expiration dates, and packaging dates.
- Input packaging information into the inventory management system.
- Qualifications:_
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
- Ability to follow packaging guidelines and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move moderately heavy boxes.

**Salary**: $22.75-$26.90 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
