Construction Labourer

Phil Selvig Construction Ltd. has successfully operated throughout the Northumberland, ON region for well over 30 years. We are general contractors specializing in custom home construction and renovations. Our business is based on client satisfaction and quality workmanship.

We're looking for dependable and hard working individuals with strong analytical skills and an interest in construction.
- Three (3) years minimum experience in residential construction an asset.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Health & Safety, WHIMIS, Fall Arrest, Ladder Safety training an asset.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Manual labour on construction sites (indoors, outdoors, at heights),
- Ability to conduct repetitive and physically demanding tasks,
- Framing, roofing, window and siding installation, interior trim work,
- Use of typical construction equipment such as reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, nail guns, drills, torches etc.,
- Have basic tools/equipment: Steel-toed boots, hard hat, gloves, hammer, and carpenter apron. (Annual boot allowance provided),
- Have own means of transportation, willing to travel regularly, primarily to work locations within Northumberland County.

Driver Abstract and Criminal Record Check will be required by successful applicant prior to start date.

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Northumberland, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Driving Licence (required)
