We are looking to add to our team at Servocom Builders We are searching for highly motivated, reliable team member that takes great pride in work ethic and performance.

Must have a good working knowledge of general carpentry skills such as roofing, framing and reading plans.

You will be required to use power and hand tools, stand on ladders or scaffolding. You must have the ability to handle materials such as wood asphalt and steel.

All training is provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- New roof installation using various materials and tools
- Time management
- Remove debris from roofs to install new materials
- Use hand tools and other equipment (e.g. scaffold, ladder)
- Follow all safety rules/WHMIS and safety policies
- Installing wooden structures such as roofing framers, joists, partitions, rafters, and stud work
- Reading blueprints and designs prepared by other architects, construction professionals, and ensuring they meet building code recommendations and requirements.

Requirements and skills:

- Must be reliable, punctual and have the ability to work well with others and be part of a team.
- Must have a valid drivers license, PPE (steel toe boots etc.) and own transportation.
- Physical strength and balance
- Ability to use hand and power tools, included but not limited to drills, saws, nail guns, sanders etc.
- Must be able to work at heights.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Westville, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
