**Objective**

**Job Duties**:

- Conduct thorough security checks of individuals and their belongings upon entry to the event venue
- Monitor event activities to identify any potential security threats or suspicious behavior
- Respond quickly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise
- Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter unauthorized behavior or activities
- Remove unruly or intoxicated individuals from the event venue as necessary, while ensuring their safety and well-being
- Work collaboratively with other event staff and security personnel to ensure the safety and security of all attendees
- Communicate effectively with event organizers and law enforcement as needed
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities.

**Required Qualifications**
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Minimum 2 year event security experience (or retired law enforcement)
- Standard First Aid & CPR
- Valid Smart Serve
- Valid G2 or G drivers license

**Preferred Additional Qualifications**
- Previous law enforcement or military experience
- High level of physical fitness
- Martial arts training
- Non violent crisis intervention training
- Use of force training
