**Position Summary**:

- Reporting to an ITS Manager and utilizing ITIL best practices, the Information Systems Support position engages in support duties for a variety of internal and/or external users in a centralized computing environment. These duties include: user education and training, remote troubleshooting, system security, call documentation, installation and configuration, tracking and assignments of user needs relation to all Information Systems including hardware, software, network, videoconferencing and communications.**Prince George** has a population of 89,490 (2021) local residents and is a service centre for approximately 320,000. **Qualifications**:

- Grade 12.
- Graduation from a recognized two year computer system technology diploma program, two (2) years recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to type.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
