**Position Overview**:T&B Automotive is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' satisfaction by providing exceptional service and guidance throughout their vehicle maintenance and repair processes. Your expertise in automotive systems, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage customer relationships will contribute to the overall success of our mechanics shop.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Interaction**: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, actively listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle issues and maintenance requests.

**Service Recommendations**: Utilize recommendations from our technical team to provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, offering multiple options when applicable.

**Estimates and Quotes**: Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and parts, and present them to customers. Ensure transparency and answer any questions they may have about pricing or procedures.

**Appointment Scheduling**: Efficiently manage the shop's appointment schedule to ensure timely service delivery and allocate resources effectively.

**Order Processing**: Create work orders and service requests, detailing the scope of work, parts required, and estimated completion timeframes.

**Technical Liaison**: Act as a liaison between customers and our skilled mechanics, translating technical jargon into understandable terms for customers.

**Upselling Opportunities**: Identify additional service needs based on vehicle history and manufacturer recommendations, presenting options to customers for their consideration.

**Vehicle Updates**: Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle repairs or maintenance, including any unforeseen delays or changes.

**Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all customer interactions, service histories, and repair details.

**Qualifications**:
**Automotive Expertise**: A good understanding of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair processes to accurately assess customer needs and recommend appropriate services.

**Customer Service**: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport, actively listen, and address customer concerns effectively.

**Technical Communication**: Proficient in translating technical information into layperson terms, making complex concepts understandable to customers.

**Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage a dynamic schedule, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

**Team Player**: Collaborative approach to working with mechanics, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless customer experiences.

**Computer Literacy**: Proficiency in using computer software for creating estimates, work orders, and maintaining customer records.

**Ethical Conduct**: Maintain a high level of integrity, ensuring transparency and honesty in all customer interactions.

**Problem Solving**: Strong analytical skills to diagnose customer concerns and recommend appropriate solutions.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in automotive technology is a plus).
- Previous experience in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
