Commercial Janitor

**Responsibilities**:

- Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
- Perform cleaning duties as stipulated
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and follow direction

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality
- Available to work early mornings, evenings and weekends and vacation relief
- Able to pass a clear criminal record check
- Valid drivers license and reliable working vehicle (optional company vehicle at times)
- Cell phone

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Powell River, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
