The Modern Vancouver and The Penthouse Event Suite is Vancouver's freshest executive and social landmark, offering shared and private space for corporate events, business meetings and exclusive social events.

We host high-end private functions such as:

Our staff are an integral part of our business and we are looking to add friendly, hard working and positive people to our ever expanding team.

Duties for servers/bussers/hostesses may include ($25-35/hr including wages and tips):

- Serving It Right
- Taking drink orders and serving drinks
- Bussing Tables
- Washing glassware and banquet dishes
- Help with setting up and closing down the venue
- Hosting during the beginning of the event while guests are arriving, and escorting them up to the venue.
- Helping with catering.

Duties for bartenders include ($33-60+/ hr including wages and tips):

- Serving It Right
- Exceptional mixology skills
- Opening and closing of bar
- Helping out with opening/closing of venue

Duties for set up and maintenance staff include but not limited to ($25/hr +):

- General venue set up
- vacuuming and power washing carpets prior to events
- help with setting up lights and curtains
- possibly some heavy lifting (Less than 40lbs)
- Storage organization
- Help with lights and audio system
- Garbage removal
- NO Serving It Right required

We value all our staff and full paid training on the job will be provided. This is a 5 Star venue, and requires 5 star staff to operate it. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends with a positive mindset and exceptional customer service skills.
