The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

We are seeking an experienced and successful Sales Specialist to join the Fall Protection Division. Reporting to the National Sales Manager-Fall Protection, you will be responsible for business growth for key vertical market customers within the Construction, Energy Markets, Telecommunications, Manufacturing and Government.

As a fall protection specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

- Leads by problem solving customer challenges with a high level of technical skills
- Implements solutions with strong communication and attention to details
- Determines what strategies are deployed with the best interest of the business
- Supports a team of core safety specialist as well as channel partners and end user customers

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- High School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- Five (5) years of Professional Sales Selling experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Prior experience in the field of working at Heights (Fall Protection), or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),
- Five (5) years of Professional Sales experience in the field Fall Protection, or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),
- Management of CRM system such as Salesforce
- Strong knowledge of regulations
- Superior time management skills
- Great communicator
- Team player

Work location:

- Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to the prescribed territory at least 3-5 days per week
- Southern Ontario

Travel: May include up to 80% domestic in field focus
