**Cabinet Maker Helper**

We're growing again and currently seeking a cabinet maker helper to join our team. The desired applicant will have at least 1 year of **direct **woodworking experience or equivalent education and is physically fit to help with delivery.

This position has the potential to lead into a red seal apprenticeship.

**Position Functions**:

- Assemble custom cabinetry and millwork as per blueprints.
- Safely operate common cabinet making tools and equipment.
- Machine, sand, shape, cut, and organize cabinetry, millwork and fixture components.
- Wrap, package, and load a truck.
- Deliver and assist with installations.
- Assist cabinet makers and finishers with their duties.

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year of direct experience in woodworking or eq. education.
- Proficient with use of common woodworking tools, equipment and processes.
- Physically fit. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs

**Other Requirements**:

- Efficiently work within project labor budgets.
- Maintain excellent product quality.
- Performance driven.
- Punctual and dependable.

**Reporting Arrangement**:

- This position will report directly to the production manager.

**Term**:
Full time, day position.

**Schedule**:
**We work a compressed 4 day work week**. Enjoy the work / life balance of a long weekend - every weekend

Wage dependent on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 41 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- No weekends
