Purchasing Specialist

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Source, Quote and Procure parts & services
- Respond to inquiries regarding the company’s products and provide product information
- Search client portals to identify appropriate parts and bid on them
- Provide external customer service maintaining a close client relationship
- Expediting orders with suppliers and communicating results effectively to customers.
**Desired Skills and Attributes**:
- Basic knowledge of the industry, products, and markets is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Technical aptitude
- Quick and effective learner
- Good interpersonal, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to sell products, strong negotiation, and prioritization skills.
- Analytical thinking - ability to break down simple and complex issues in order to resolve customer service problems and provide technical support.
- Attention to detail
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education is required
- Bilingual verbal and written in English and Spanish (is an asset)
- Advanced Excel skills
- 1-2 years of experience working in a technical sales-driven environment
- Technical experience is an asset
- Experience with engineering drawings is preferred
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
