**Role Summary**
Assistant Event Facilitator is a representative of Three Feathers Terrace. The Assistant Facilitator is and entry level position for someone looking to expand to the event world, assist Three Feathers Senior Facilitators with managing events proficiently, enthusiastically and with great organization. This person should be outgoing, approachable, friendly, and committed to providing superb customer service as well as someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**
The main roll of the Assistant Facilitator is ensuring weddings and/or events run smoothly along side the Senior Venue Facilitators. The duties include, but are not limited too:
- Attending & assisting with rehearsals
- Assisting with coordinating the wedding ceremony, grand entrances & dinner start time
- Troubleshoot and handle any issues that arise on the event day
- Provide accurate and timely information to all vendors working on each event
- Coordinate with internal staff, clients, vendors, and others to establish needs for events
- Take Social Media snippets of the day your assigned on without being intrusive
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Keen interest in the event industry specifically in weddings
- Must be available to nights, weekends and/or holidays as required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to quality and creativity.
- Excellent with people and is well spoken with excellent verbal communication
- Must be able to execute all instructions with a high level of attention to detail, professionalism, and efficiency
- Must be flexible in any high stress situation that may arise on event with an ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and help with a plan of action.
- May be required to work a rotating schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Smart Serve Certificate is an asset
- First Aid Certificate an asset
**Job Type**
Seasonal Part time position with the opportunity for a more permanent position
**Working Environment**
- Inclement weather conditions
- Heavy lifting / squatting, moving
- May have times of prolonged standing and walking
- 10 hours shifts
- Mostly weekends, with some weekday events

**Salary**: $15.50-$18.00 per hour

- INNISFIL, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
