**Pickering Casino Resort is seeking Part-time Ticket Agents for their Entertainment Venue**

Reporting directly to Box Office and FOH Manager, this role is responsible for ticket and merchandise sales, and for providing excellent customer service for events. Able to work independently as well as within a team environment. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts (or obtain an approved replacement if unable to work).
- Accurately process ticket orders and payment for events or future events as applicable.
- Accurately reconcile balance sheet of cash, debit/credit received and tickets sold; balance sales and cash float and submit cash to Manager, for audit.
- Manage will call for events and maintain accurate count on sold and scanned tickets.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints; escalates issues as required
- Perform all duties in accordance with the guidelines, practices, rules, policies and procedures established by GCE, Pickering Casino Resort and Ticketmaster
- Sell artist merchandise as required, count and keep track of stock.
- Complete daily ticket and merchandise sales reports.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills; responding professionally, promptly, and efficiently to customer’s service requests and needs.
- File various records and reports. Perform related administrative clerical work as assigned.
- Adhere to the established dress code.
- Proven computer skills, input data, process and record sales transactions.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate well.
- Demonstrate good judgment and make sound decisions
- Assist in other duties as assigned by the Manager.

**Successful applicants will demonstrate the following qualifications**:

- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and cash handling
- Strong computer skills
- Computerized ticketing system experience is an asset; Ticketmaster experience an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional telephone manner
