**The Role**
In this position, you will deliver a variety of psychological services, including conducting psychological mental health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention for children, youth, and families. You will work closely with team members, community agencies, schools, hospitals, and other ministry programs while providing individual, group, and family therapy. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, your work will help youth, and their families feel confident in their ability to move through change and navigate recovery.
This role will provide an opportunity to work with a collaborative and passionate team, dedicated to supporting youth and families through their challenges. Additionally, the role provides a flexible hybrid work model, with the possibility of working from home up to two days per week, depending on operational needs and flexible work agreements.
**Qualifications**:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Ph.D in Clinical, Counselling, or School Psychology or Psy.D (Doctor of Psychology)
- Registered with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia as a Psychologist. (Applicants in the process of being registered, or those who are eligible for registration may be considered at a lower classification)
- Completion of a psychological pre-or post-doctoral internship of 1600 hours in a child and youth mental health or hospital setting with specialization in formal psychological assessment, diagnoses and treatment of mental health disorders.
- Experience in clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology.
- Experience developing & running educational and treatment groups for parents, children and adolescents.
- Two (2) years recent (gained the past five (5) years) clinical experience working in child and youth mental health services, with responsibility for providing a wide range of community based mental health services.
- Must possess and maintain a valid class 5 BC Driver’s license with no restriction or equivalent (i.e. from another Canadian Province - If you are the successful applicant you must acquire a valid B.C. driver's Class 5 driver's licence immediately).
**Preference may be given to applicants with the following**:
- Applicants who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit) with the required combination of education and experience.

**About this Position**:
3 positions available: One (1) permanent, full time position in Langley, one (1) permanent, full time position in Delta, and one (1) permanent, part time (0.5 FTE) position in Delta.
An eligibility list may be established to fill both current and/or future permanent vacancies in Surrey, Langley, and Delta.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Criminal Record Review Act Check (CRRA) will be required.
