**Job Description** AECOM** is looking for a Billing Specialist I to assist the Finance Services team of the DCS and Consulting Services Group. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of office and remote schedule and will be based Thornhill, ON.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Under direct supervision, prepares billing for clients, to include review of invoices and back up documentation received from subcontractors.
- Billing reviewed by the Project Manager prior to submission to client.
- Track project expenses, ensure compliance and communicate with internal teams to resolve any billing related queries.
- Involvement in reconciling accounts and processing payment releases.
- Review initial project setup and documentation provided.
- General excel knowledge.

**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, accounting or a related field demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in Billing and Cost Analyst a plus.
- Prior Experience with Federal and Joint Venture Billing is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Experience building and maintaining strong internal relationships.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness.

**Additional Information**
- Relocation is not available for this position
- This position does not include sponsorship for Canadian work authorization.
- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The Salary rate for this position is $42K - $57K CAD annually.
