**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation and production of breakfast menu items
- Bakes breads, rolls, muffins, pies, pastries, cakes and cookies
- Prepares batters from scratch, fillings, cuts and forms dough
- Ensure daily production levels are met
- Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly cleaning lists are completed
- Ensure food quality, food safety and service standards are met and maintained daily
- May be required to perform administrative and supervisory tasks in the absence of the Chef
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company Safe Work Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- 3-5+ years food service and baking experience, preferably in a remote environment
- Valid Food Safety certification is required prior to working
- First Aid Certification is an asset
- Red Seal Baker or Cook Certification is an asset
- Proven leadership, organizational and time management skills in an industrial kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
