**About this opportunity**

Reporting to the site Operations Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor oversees and coordinates all plant activities related to shipping and receiving while supervising and directing the warehouse team.**What you will do**
- Collaborate with logistic partners, including freight forwarders/couriers, warehouse companies and customs agencies.
- Build and maintain good relationships with relevant partners and authorities.
- Negotiate the price with logistic partners to minimize the cost of shipment transportation and warehousing services.
- Ensure all warehouse staff work safely and follow established policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance of warehouse activities with company food-safe and quality programs.
- Ensure warehouse/shipping supply inventory is kept at optimal levels.
- Oversee inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
- Support the warehouse team by booking shipments, receive incoming deliveries and prepare loads for shipment.
- Provide performance reviews and ongoing development opportunities to staff.
- Monitor the building and equipment and report deficiencies to the maintenance and safety departments.
- Follow GFSI procedures and comply with company certifications (C-TPAT, AIB, SMETA).
- Perform other related duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

**What you have to offer**
- 5+ years’ experience in a shipping & receiving oriented manufacturing environment; 3+ years supervising employees.
- Experienced and certified forklift operator (Counterbalance & Narrow Isle).
- Minimum three years experience in cross-border logistics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrate and embrace safety leadership.
- Able to identify cost saving opportunities in inventory management and labor cost reduction.
- Familiarity and working knowledge of GFSI.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple priorities.
- Ability to work with customers, suppliers, and employees at every level of the organization.
