Extraction Operators

**Blue Sky Hemp Ventures Ltd. currently has an opening for an Extraction Operator at our Saskatoon manufacturing facility. As proud locals, our start-up operation is 100% Canadian-owned and operated.**

**Extraction Operator Key Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Director of CBD Extraction, Extraction Technicians and QA on all elements of hemp extraction.
- Work within a GPP facility. Produce and prepare extracted cannabis products as necessary to meet daily production demands.
- Storing supplies, equipment and disposal of waste according to Health Canada guidelines.
- Operation, calibration and maintenance of the equipment and area involved in cannabis (hemp) oil production.
- Maintain the highest level of cleanliness/sanitation of equipment, glassware and facility.
- Maintain strict inventory records of all raw materials, chemicals, and equipment used in the facility.
- Execute the extraction and processing of various hemp products as per regulatory standards.

**Required Skills, Training & Experience**
- Food processing, laboratory, or manufacturing experience
- Reasonable physical fitness such that you can stand and/or walk for significant periods of a shift, and lift or manipulate processing screens, bulk bags of product, and/or attend to the physical maintenance of certain equipment
- Comfort working with spreadsheets
- Distillation or extraction experience considered an asset
- Experience with grain or other food processing considered an asset
- Skill and experience in reporting and interpretation of data (KPIs, production efficiencies)
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret basic SOP’s related to food and extraction business
- Acceptable results to a Criminal Record Check
