- Assist project team using CAD skills to efficiently develop/revise plan view drawings, sections, & details for various structural and building envelope related projects;
- Tasks will include development of working drawings & details from existing sets, information collected in the field or sketches;
- Site visits to take photos and measurements will occasionally be needed;
- Assist in basic interpretation and verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices;
- Ability to resolve and/or communicate any technical issues that may arise;
- Perform other duties as assigned and guided by Project Managers or Supervisor.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Educational background in a relevant discipline (i.e. Diploma in Architectural Technician /

Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting);
- 1-3 years experience using AutoCAD is a must, with knowledge of other related drafting software considered an asset (for example, Revit, SketchUp, etc.);
- Past work experience (professional or co-op) in the construction industry would be an asset;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams & Outlook;
- Working knowledge of pdf viewing platforms such as Cute pdf Pro or Bluebeam would be an asset;
- Highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic team player;
- Capable of working independently;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills;
- Technical knowledge in architectural or civil engineering discipline would be an asset;
- Technical understanding of building structures and building envelope materials;
- Ability to balance immediate and long-term work with varying priorities to meet deadlines;
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with clients and co-workers;
- Very good organizational and writing skills;
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle is a must.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
