Turf Maintenance

The Glen Arbour Golf Course is a private golf course located in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, just west of Halifax and features a classic eighteen-hole championship course, a nine-hole par three as well as a practice facility. Glen Arbour is operated as a Limited Partnership whose philosophy is to create a course with excellent conditions in a family-friendly environment, with service standards that are best in class.

**Some of the responsibilities will include**:

- Maintain all playing surfaces and landscapes on the property.
- Prepare divot mixtures and properly fill divots on the driving range and course, on a daily basis.
- Equipment operation such as greens mowers, tee mowers, bunker rakes, and a variety of other powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Always adhere to appropriate personal protective equipment policies
- Observe all safety practices and procedures and adhere to all policies set forth by Glen Arbour Golf Course.
- Other tasks related to the maintenance of the course and club house building as required.

**Requirements**:

- High school degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Previous golf course maintenance experience is an asset.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift more than 50 lbs. regularly.
- Must have manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Ability to work weekends and early morning
